You know the Address Book which comes with any iPhone or iPod touch: did you ever try to send a contact to your business partner or friend? Of course not, because it's not supported. If you still want to quickly send digital business cards, vCarder is all you need!

With vCarder, you can easily select any number of contacts from your iPhone's Address Book and e-mail them as "vCards" to one or multiple recipients. While our interactive customization allows you to selectively suppress e.g. a contact's date of birth or private phone number, the original Address Book entry will not be changed and always preserves all the details.

And, vCarder fully supports Unicode, correctly handling umlauts and accents, as well as character sets of foreign languages. Contact your Japanese or Russian colleagues while fully preserving the entire contact in its original writing.

More than just viewing contacts

Sure, the Address Book on your iPhone or iPod touch is handy and versatile, granting direct access to more than just names and telephone numbers. But did you ever try to send a contact to your business partner or friend? Well, it won't work! This specific task is not supported by »Address Book«. Unlike other iPhone applications, vCarder does not take your data on a ride through unknown territory, but instead delivers your contacts, just like the rest of your e-mail correspondence. You don't need to rely upon the availability of any additional service.

On your local wireless network, we take this concept even further: using Apple's "Bonjour" technology, vCarder sends your contacts directly, from your iPhone to any other iPhone or iPod touch on your wireless LAN - no complex configuration required, absolutely no detour. Just klick on a contact, vCarder detects other iPhones or iPhone touch in your network, tap on the device’s name ... and there you go, your vCard has been sent!

Using Bonjour

You don't want to recieve vCards at all? No need to worry, if desired just tell vCarder not to accept incoming transmissions.
