MacFamilyTree:

Locate The Product Key (Online Purchase)

Which Online Service Did I Buy From?

If you purchased a »download-only« software license for MacFamilyTree, you may have purchased at one of a number of online services we use to offer you our products.

Why Multiple Software Stores?

MacFamilyTree is used by many users all over the world. As different countries have different tax systems, they also have different ways of handling international software sales. Another reason is the availability of certain payment systems like PayPal and the compatibility with international credit cards.

Let’s have a look at the three stores we use most frequently, and find out how you can spot your product key in the confirmation e-mails they send out to you once the payment has been processed:

  1. DUREG.com

DUREG specializes on the European market. Their electronic invoices and confirmation e-mails are very »readable« and will be localized for the country (language) you are purchasing from:

  2. eSellerate (Mindvision)

eSellerate process license sales for countries worldwide. There is a little more information on the e-mail you will receive after a purchase, but the important stuff is all there:

  3. Kagi

Kagi, just like eSellerate, sell software licenses all over the world. The difference is in the appearance of the e-mail. Also, it shows Only Mac as the vendor as these are sales through a partner company. Only Mac is the original inventor of MacFamilyTree, from whom we took over the product in 2007 after a number of years as contract developers for Only Mac:
